A more demanding standard

Since 2026, Euro NCAP has organized its assessment into four stages —Safe Driving, Crash Avoidance, Crash Protection and Post-Crash Safety—, each scored out of 100. The new protocol brings the tests closer to real-world conditions, broadens the occupant profiles evaluated —including older adults and children— and adds specific requirements for electric vehicles, such as safe high-voltage battery isolation after an impact.

Results across the four stages

The 7 GT stood out especially in Post-Crash Safety (95%) and Crash Protection (93%), with 89% in Crash Avoidance and 79% in Safe Driving. The results confirm both the structural robustness of the model and the effectiveness of its active safety systems.

Safety by design

For Zeekr, safety is built in from the earliest stages of product development. To back up the strength of these results, the brand submitted more than 70 technical reports to Euro NCAP validating that performance is consistent and repeatable across a wide range of real-world conditions.

Technology that helps avoid the crash

The biggest change of 2026 is that the assessment moves earlier, to the moment before the crash. The 7 GT integrates a complete package of active safety and on-board intelligence, aligned with the protocol’s new priorities:

• — Autonomous emergency braking (AEB), forward collision warning (FCW) and adaptive cruise control (ACC).
• — Automatic lane change, traffic-light recognition, self-parking and Matrix LED headlights.
• — “Escape Scene Mode” for post-crash: eCall, automatic alarm, thermal runaway management and automatic door unlocking.
• — GT foundation: 800V platform, 0–100 km/h in 3.3 s and up to 655 km of WLTP range.
